- Moddy-bopper saga comes to SF AP/BakersField Californian (Oct. 2, 1976)
Two tidbits are especially noteworthy from this story: (1) Connie Bradshaw was killed off by "The Tinkerbell Bandit" (a very different outcome than we get from the books), and (2) Ed Bayley, the dean of UC-Berkley's school of journalism was quoted as saying, "I think it's just trash... It's sort of imitation pornography."
